This is where individual games transform into an epic quest for victory and where you can truly test your skills against a field of competitive players. Whether your goal is to set up exciting online multiplayer games to play with friends or to challenge the best players on the platform, this guide is your comprehensive roadmap.
Entering a tournament can seem intimidating, but it's the most rewarding way to play. It addresses the common player pain point: "I'm good at single games, but what's next?" This guide will walk you through everything you need to know, from how tournament structures work to the specific mindset required to win. Before entering, a strong grasp of the game, as outlined in our main Player's Guide to Playing Ludo Online, is absolutely essential.
Unlike a single cash game where you play one match and you're done, a tournament is a multi-round event where players compete to advance and reach the final table. It’s a structured competition that tests not just your skill in one game, but your endurance and consistency over several.
While formats can vary, most online tournaments follow a simple and exciting elimination structure:
This format provides a clear path to victory and ensures that the most consistent and skilled player emerges as the champion.
Before you join, it’s crucial to understand how the money works. This transparency is a hallmark of a trustworthy platform.
This system rewards players not just for winning, but for making it deep into the competition.
We've designed our tournament system to be as simple and clear as possible. Here’s how you can go from the lobby to your first match in under two minutes.
Playing in a tournament requires a different mindset than a single cash game. Your goal isn't just to win one game; it's to survive and advance.
Simply navigate to the "Tournaments" tab in our app or on our website. You can see a list of all upcoming tournaments, view their details, and register for the one you want to join.
We offer both free-to-enter tournaments (freerolls) and tournaments with a cash entry fee. Tournaments with cash entry fees typically have larger prize pools.
Generally, you can only play in one tournament at a time to ensure you can give each match your full attention. You can register for multiple tournaments as long as their start times do not conflict.
If a tournament does not meet the minimum number of required participants, it will be canceled, and any entry fees paid will be automatically and fully refunded to your wallet.
We host various formats, including knockout (elimination) rounds where only winners advance, and points-based leagues where players accumulate points over several games. The format is always clearly described in the tournament lobby.
The prize pool is distributed among the top-ranking players as per the prize structure mentioned in the tournament details. The higher you rank, the larger your share of the prize pool.
Tie-breaker rules are defined for each tournament. They can be based on factors such as who had a higher score in the previous round, captured more tokens, or finished the game faster.
You can track your real-time ranking on the tournament leaderboard. A complete history of your past tournaments and performance is available in your player profile section.
Our system allows a brief, set amount of time for you to reconnect to the game. If you fail to reconnect within this window, you will be considered to have abandoned the match and will forfeit the game.
Now you have everything you need to confidently enter your first tournament. It's a fun, competitive way to enjoy the game you love, whether you're playing a casual game multiplayer offline with family or engaging in intense online multiplayer games to play with friends.
